You really have to love Alex Rodriguez if you are still getting upset by a bad game from him.
Yesterday, in the Rays’ 13-inning victory over the Yankees, A-Rod came to the plate six times, whiffing four times and grounding out once in the 9th and once into a game-ending DP in the bottom of the 13th.
This was just the 12th time since 1914 that player had 6 PA with 4 K and one GIDP, all of them occurring 1959. Oddly, Rodriguez is the fourth Yankee on the list.
